Sprinters Jimmy Vicaut in the 100m (10.36) and Pascal Martinot-Lagarde in the 110m hurdles (13.61) performed disappointingly on Sunday at the Nancy meeting.

Jimmy Vicaut, author of a 10.06 on June 9 in Paris, this time only took 4th place in a 100m won by Cameroonian Emmanuel-Alobwede Eseme (10.18).

Pascal Martinot-Lagarde did no better, 5th in the 110m hurdles, 17 hundredths behind the Senegalese winner, Louis-François Mendy (13.44).

On the other hand, the double junior world champion in the length, Erwan Konate let his joy burst after his jump, the last of the series, at 7.83 m, which offered him second place in the competition behind the Habs Tom Campagne (7.89m).

The Ivorian Maboundou Kone exploded her personal best performance over 200m with a time of 22.57 and the English Melissa Courtnay-Bryant broke the meeting record over 1,500m in 4:00.45.

To conclude the evening, the Kenyan Reynold-Kipkorir Cheruiyot broke the meeting record by winning, in 3:31.60, a 1,500m at the end of which practically all the competitors improved their personal best time.
