jpnn.comBANDUNG REGENCY – Vice President (Wapres) Ma’ruf Amin asked the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police to follow up on the figure with the initials “T” who is suspected of being the actor behind the online gambling practices that were revealed.
“It was indeed revealed in the cabinet meeting that there were parties with the initials “T”. Of course the cabinet meeting did not follow up, well now it has been revealed, it has been reported to Bareskrim,” said the Vice President.
The Vice President delivered his statement on the Whoosh Fast Train at Tegalluar Station, Bandung Regency, West Java (Jabar), Thursday, after attending the Inauguration of the 31st Class of 2024 of the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) Young Civil Servants at the IPDN Campus, Sumedang Regency, West Java, Thursday (1/8).
The figure with the initials “T” was revealed by the Head of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) Benny Rhamdani. Benny has also fulfilled the summons of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit for his statement.
“He has been summoned, so to speak, it’s just a matter of what Bareskrim will follow up on? Who? Who is that T? Is it true or not?,” said the Vice President.
He emphasized that the disclosure of the figure “T” was important so as not to cause polemics in the public.
“Well, that’s so that it will be made clearer because it’s already open, everyone knows it’s been published, it’s been reported to Bareskrim, now Bareskrim just needs to follow up. We hope that later there will be no more polemics about who is T? This T, that T. It could be wrong, right? Maybe it’s this T. Maybe it’s that T. There are many names of T. I think that’s all,” said the Vice President.
Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi asked for the names of the actors behind online gambling practices to be revealed.
Vice President Ma’ruf Amin asked the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit to immediately follow up on the figure of T who is said to be the controller of online gambling.
