Vice-president participates in the International Congress on Lusophony Science

News from Angola – The Vice-President of the Republic Esperança da Costa, will participate from the 18th to the 20th, this month, on the Island of São Vicente-Mindelo (Cape Verde), in the 1st International Congress on Science, Innovation and Development of Lusophony.

Representing the President of the Republic João Lourenço, Esperança da Costa, travels this Tuesday, to join the Honor Committee of the event alongside the Head of State and the Cape Verdean Prime Minister, José Maria Neves and Ulisses Correia and Silva.

According to the statement that Noticias de Angola had access to today, promoted by the Lusophone University of Cape Verde, it will be attended by Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Brazil and Portugal.

The Congress will address “The Paths to quality scientific research in Lusophone countries, promoting dialogue between universities, political power and companies”, as well as “Science, technology and innovation in Lusophone countries: challenges and opportunities in the 21st century ”.

The Congress is aimed at researchers, academics, decision-makers, university students and postgraduates from all Portuguese-speaking countries, who work in their countries or in the diaspora.
