Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal often shares photos and videos with his family on social media. Recently, he shared a picture of a sweet dish made by his mother Veena. He called it comfort food. Vicky shared a picture of a bowl full of ‘seviyan’ on Instagram and wrote in the caption, ‘Maa ke haath ki seviyan’.
In the post, the actor also added the song ‘Tareefan’, which is from the 2018 film ‘Veere Di Wedding’. It was sung by rapper Badshah and Karan. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania were seen in it.
‘Bad News’ releases on July 19
Talking about Vicky’s films, the actor’s film ‘Bad News’ was released on 19 July last month. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, it also stars Tripti Dimri and Amy Virk. Neha Dhupia and Sheeba Chaddha were also seen. Ananya Pandey also had a cameo. The story is based on heteropaternalism, in which the twin babies growing in the woman’s womb have two fathers.
Shared the experience of shooting a comedy film
Explaining the reason behind doing the film, the actor said in his statement that he agreed to do this movie because he wanted to explore the comedy genre. He wanted to do something that he had not done before. The actor shared his experience of shooting the comedy film. He said that despite working in this genre for the first time, he felt very comfortable in it.

Vicky said, ‘For me, shooting for this film was like being at home. It was great working with Anand Tiwari and Karan Johar, and the script was also very good. I found the concept of the film new and it is full of comedy, although I have not explored the comedy genre much as an actor.’
‘The kind of energy that is required to be shown, I got it from the set’
Talking about the film’s director Anand Tiwari, Vicky said, ‘Apart from being a great actor, he is also a brilliant director, especially when it comes to comedy, there is no better actor than him.’ The actor said, ‘It was also something new for me. The kind of energy that is required in the scene, I got it from the set. I was working with a family, which means a lot, because I have hardly worked in the comedy genre and many things were new to me. So, without thinking much, I surrendered to them.’
