The PDI Homicide Brigade and the ECOH Team of the Public Prosecutor’s Office Investigations are being carried out after the discovery of the body of a foreign citizen who was tied up inside his apartment in Independence.
ECOH prosecutor Milibor Bugueño stated that, preliminarily, “would be a person of foreign nationality, who has signs, both at the scene of the crime and on his body, of having been the victim of a homicide.”
The prosecutor added that the body had various injuries, which would have been caused by a sharp weapon.
Regarding the circumstances of the victim’s discovery in Independencia, the representative of the ECOH Team explained that “The family was worried because he was not answering his cell phone, they went to the apartment and discovered a dead body.”
