News from Angola – The social responsibility program Vidas ZAP last week provided moments of leisure for the children of the Remar foster home.

The event, which was attended by presenter Stefane de Carvalho, culminated in entertainment, fun and moments of reading.

In a note that Noticias de Angola had access to today, it points out that the mini library was created by the company, to support children in the challenges of writing and reading, developing their intellectual side.

To this end, the presenter’s affection reached each of the 50 children in the foster home who are there due to their difficult life stories.

“Traumas that were briefly left behind with fantastic and happy tales from the many books that fill the “Cantinho da Leitura”, donated by VIDAS Zap to the center”, reads the document.

According to the report, in addition to moments of fun, a theatrical play was provided by the Experimental Theater Group, which are also partners of several charitable institutions and associations, in what is their area of ​​activity, recreational activities.

To this end, the director of REMAR, António Martins, who recognized the value of the company’s satellite television project for the institution’s children.

António Martins also reinforced that moments like those experienced last Friday at home are rare, they only happen on festive dates, hence the “joy and surprise of all these children to see the channel’s presenter, Stela de Oak.

According to Filipa Vera-Cruz, ZAP first installed the lifetime TV signal, and then the Cantinho da Leitura.

“This activity with our presenter Stela de Carvalho is a way of energizing this space and stimulating interest in books in children. It is working, our objectives are being achieved, we can feel such vibrant energy today”, she testified.

ZAP will install the next Reading Corner in October, in one of the Homes that receives its support.

REMAR has been caring for children since 1996, in Luanda. It relies on support from companies like ZAP to support children in need of material goods and, mainly, to stimulate their development.
