A video is circulating on social media where an unidentified man leaves a suspicious package at a reception desk and flees the scene. Later, one of the receptionists opens the package, only to realize that it is a firebomb that detonates, producing a flame accompanied by smoke.
All this happened in the main office of the Argentine Rural Society located in the capital of Buenos Aires last Saturday, September 7. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported during the attack.

The man, approximately 40 years old, was arrested by Argentine authorities and placed under investigation by local police. During the attack, the person who opened the package suffered minor burn injuries and according to several reports, this person is in stable condition with no further injuries.
Nicholas Pino, president of the Argentine Rural Society, informed the CNN that there were no injuries or deaths, that it was only a “scare” and that the material damage was minimal. “It was a strange day. One is not prepared for this kind of thing”, declared.
