The Ansar Allah group (Houthis) announced today, Sunday, “carrying out a qualitative military operation that targeted important targets in the Eilat region in southern Israel with a number of ballistic missiles.”
The Houthis said in their statement: “The missile force of the Yemeni armed forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting important targets in the Umm al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine with a number of ballistic missiles and achieved its goals successfully, thanks be to God.”
They added: “The Yemeni Armed Forces’ naval forces, air force, and missile force carried out a joint military operation targeting the American ship (Pumba) in the Red Sea with a number of ballistic missiles and drones. The operation resulted in a direct hit on the ship, thanks be to God.”
They continued: “The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm their full right to defend dear Yemen against the American and British aggression as well as against the Israeli aggression, and that this aggression will not deter the great Yemen from its firm position towards the injustice of the Palestinian people.”
The Houthis pointed out that “the operations of the Yemeni armed forces in the previously specified maritime operations area against Israeli, American and British ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine or dealing with the Israeli entity will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.”
In the context, Ali Al-Qahoum, a member of the political bureau of the Ansar Allah movement, said, “A painful and hurtful response is coming to Israel after the raids it launched on the port of Hodeidah.”
Al-Qahoum said in a statement at dawn on Sunday: “We say to the Zionists, do not rejoice too much, the response from Yemen is coming and it is painful and hurtful, and you will not escape punishment, and you will regret and lament, and your voices will rise… and your choices will be either to emigrate and return to where you came from or to remain in shelters, because American and British protection will not benefit you, and the hand that violates Yemen’s sovereignty and attacks its capabilities and people will be cut off.”
He added, “The Zionists must realize that Greater Yemen is not like any other, but rather it is the crusher of enemies and the sinking of empires and projects of occupation and Israeli-British-American colonialism in the region, and with it the unipolarity will fall and Israel will disappear, God willing.. and what is coming is greater and the circles turn on the aggressor and what is coming is full of surprises.”
He continued: “The battle is long and the Zionists must pay a heavy price and bear the blows while they are ongoing… with their hand on the trigger… and Yemen does not have in its dictionary the habit of ignoring and standing idly by in the face of any criminal aggression. Rather, it is present on the ground and its military action is painful, visible, influential and strategic. The target bank will be broad and comprehensive of the occupied Palestinian geography.”
He said: “Here we confirm that action is met with similar action, and it is a fixed equation in the rules of engagement, and with it the conflict will expand and its consequences for the enemies will be dire, and its action is witnessed and its military and strategic operations are painful, influential and effective, and it will be an earthquake for the aggressors and with it Israel will be destroyed and its response is inevitable, strong and decisive and will not be delayed and there are many surprises.”
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that its fighters bombed Houthi sites in Yemen in response to the targeting of Tel Aviv on Friday. The Houthis had claimed responsibility for launching a long-range drone that hit the city of Tel Aviv, killing an Israeli.
Ansar Allah had previously announced the killing and wounding of 90 people as a result of Israeli raids targeting vital facilities in the Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen.
