A video was circulated on social media showing the exact moment when two concessionary transport units collided head-on.

The images show that one of the units goes over a speed bump and then turns abruptly towards the opposite lane.
At that moment another passenger truck was passing by and that is how the crash occurred, which left four people injured, one of them seriously.

Elements of the police arrived at the site Heroic Fire Department of Temixco, Rescue Squad and Medical Emergencies (ERUM) and Traffic Police to address the situation.
Alexander Jose Luis Romero Alvarez -director of the municipal Fire Department- informed local media that the accident left four passengers injured and one of them had to be transferred to a nearby hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
He added that the trucks involved belong to the routes “Interschool” y “Greens of Morelos“and the corresponding authorities will determine responsibilities.

Traffic at the site was affected for several hours as the injured were treated, debris was removed and the area was cleaned.
The reason why the driver crossed into the opposite lane is currently unknown, as there was a division on the avenue.
