With great media interest, the drug trial against the alleged mastermind of the Ibiza video, Julian Hessenthaler, began on Wednesday at the St. Pölten Regional Court. The 40-year-old is said to have passed on more than a kilo of cocaine, he is incriminated by witnesses. The defendant pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations. “I know it wasn’t me,” he said during his questioning. A guilty verdict faces up to 15 years imprisonment.
