On Thursday afternoon, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) will advise on the approval of the corona vaccine from the manufacturer BioNTech / Pfizer for children from the age of five. A positive decision is expected. If the EMA gives the green light, then only the EU Commission has to agree, but that is a matter of form. So far there has not been a corona vaccine that is approved in the EU for children under the age of twelve.
