Las heavy rains registered in Veracruz caused some floods at different points in the entity.
This Tuesday July 9th There was heavy rainfall, causing some damage – such as puddles and flooding – in different parts of Veracruz.
The above is caused by the passage of tropical wave number 8 which caused damage in the municipalities of Alvarado, Medellin Bravesas well as in the metropolitan area of Veracruz-Boca del Rio.

In these municipalities, streets, highways and avenues are reported with flooding, so elements of Civil protection of the entity went to the sites to carry out tours in order to corroborate the effects.
“At the moment the rain has decreased, and the water levels are beginning to drop, but the population is urged to take precautions, avoid driving on flooded roads or walking on them due to the risk of uncovered drains or manholes,” the authority reported.

However, on social media, users shared videos of some streets flooded by the heavy rainfall.
In one of the clips, a long line of vehicles can be seen being swept away by the strong current. It was also reported that rainwater leaked into the TAMSA pipe factory, causing several damages inside.

Another clip showed young ovaries taking advantage of the floods. In one part of the video, the teenagers are seen swimming in an inflatable boat, while another shows them diving from the roof of a vehicle.
