This afternoon Thursday, September 5th An aircraft was reported crashed on a dam located in the area known as Encino, This in the capital of the state of Chihuahua.
A video of the moment when the helicopter crashed into the dam was spread through social media.
In the images – captured by witnesses in the area – the aircraft can be seen extracting water from the dam using an attachment.

However, the helicopter began to lose altitude and began to sway until it fell to the surface of the water. A woman who was watching the event screamed in fear.

After a few minutes, elements of the police arrived. State Policeelements of the municipality of Chihuahua and paramedics of the Red Cross to rescue the crew members who were on the aircraft.
The Chihuahua City Council issued a brief statement on the accident in which it indicated that the crew members were rescued, without specifying a number:
“Rapid action in the event of an accident! After the crash of a helicopter at the Chihuahua Dam, the emergency teams Civil Protection and Municipal Police They acted immediately to rescue the crew.”

Some local media reported that two crew members were missing, but the municipality’s statement neither confirmed nor denied the report.
