Video: Israeli shelling of southern Lebanese towns resumes

Today, Thursday, the Israeli warplanes launched a raid targeting the outskirts of the town of Kafra, south of Lebanon, while it was reported that a Lebanese citizen was killed and another was injured.

The National News Agency reported that “the Israeli occupation raid on the town of Kfar Sabah this morning resulted in the martyrdom of one person and the injury of another,” while Israeli media said that the raids on the aforementioned town resulted in “the killing of a Hezbollah member.”

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the town of Aita al-Shaab and the outskirts of the town of Beit Lif, and an Israeli drone dropped incendiary bombs on the Tal al-Nahhas area on the outskirts of the town of Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon.

Israeli radio reported today, Thursday, that the number of launches from Lebanon into Israel recorded a 20% increase during the past month of August.

The radio pointed out that August is the month with the highest number of missiles and drones launched from Lebanon at Israel since the start of the war in October of last year 2023, as 1,307 missiles and drones were launched from Lebanon towards Israel during this month, an increase of 20% compared to July and 80% compared to last January.
