Authorities report at least one dead and one injured, according to a first report, after the passage of a powerful tornado, this Sunday, on several counties of the south of Indianapolis, in the State of Indiana in the UNITED STATES. In Greenwood, witnesses caught footage of the massive tornado as it slammed into buildings, destroying several buildings. “I have never seen such a tornado,” exclaims a witness while capturing the scene with his smartphone.
Authorities urged the public to avoid the affected area as several roads were closed. The exact extent of the damage is unknown at this time. Already last April, five people were killed in Indiana by a violent storm.
