Later, more police officers arrived to obstruct the view of the complainant’s cell phone camera that recorded the events.

Today, at Metro Constitución, these police officers attacked the boy who was carrying a dog very badly. The police told me to move. She took pictures of me,” the user wrote in his complaint.

In response to this, the video went viral and the Mass Transportation System (STC) responded to the user’s complaint stating that the police officers who appear in the clip are allegedly not assigned to the Metro.

“The situation was dealt with by security personnel who are presumably not assigned to the Metro,” the statement reads, adding that an investigation has been opened to determine whether the assigned personnel participated in the events and, if so, to sanction them.

“It is important to note that access to the Metro with small breed pets is permitted in small or medium-sized carriers,” concludes the STC.

For its part, the SSC issued a statement stating that the events occurred outside the 1917 Constitución station of the Elevated Trolleybus Line 10 and that agents of the Auxiliary Police They carried out surveillance patrols in the area.

The SSC concluded that the agents evicted the man because they did not have the security measures to transport the canine.
