More than 50 exhibitors provided information about the many education and training opportunities in Lungau at the 11th Career Information Exchange (BIB).
Apprenticeship or further education? The BIB in Tamsweg once again offered support with career orientation. The AMS and WK premises in the House for Business, Work and Education prepared for trade fair operations. Around 600 young people, mostly accompanied by their parents, took advantage of the opportunity to get to know local companies, schools and service facilities. Workers, employees and apprentices, directors, teachers and students were available to provide information to the interested trade fair audience with information material, practical examples and, above all, personal discussions. The armed forces and police were also represented again to offer an insight into their everyday lives.
AMS boss Andreas Hinterdorfer on the importance of the BIB: “The Lungau youth should get to know all the offers. Because if Lungau loses the youth, it will lose the skilled workers of tomorrow.” It will continue next year with the BIB on Friday, October 11, 2024.
