Actor Mela Raghu’s daughter Shilpa Sasidhar has shared a video that fills the minds of the audience. Raghu’s father passed away shortly before Shilpa’s marriage. The marriage took place on September 12, six months after Raghu’s death. Shilpa and her mother Shyamala were saddened by the absence of their father in the wedding photo. Now, Shilpa has gifted her wedding photo with her father on her mother’s birthday.
Shilpa shared the video saying, ‘Every film has a story to tell’. The video shows Shilpa’s mother Shyamala opening the photo frame as a surprise and laughing at it. Ajila Janish (color pencils) from Wayanad Sultan Bathery created Shilpa’s wedding photo with Raghu’s picture.
These are the words his daughter wrote to me to frame this photo. ‘This is a photo of my father. Name Mela Raghu (Sasidharan). His father died on May 3. My father’s greatest wish was marriage. But his father left without waiting for it. The wedding was scheduled for April 25. But on April 16, his father was admitted with hypoglycemia. He was in a coma until he died. One could not even speak. It was postponed until the wedding in the hope that his father would return. But his father did not return.
