Tomorrow, a large festival of contemporary music and urban culture, Station Narva 2023, opens in Narva, at which world-famous musicians will perform. Today, Narvskaya Gazeta was able to attend the rehearsal of the concert that will open the festival – tomorrow, September 7, at 18:00 in the building of the Narva College of the Technical University, admission is free.
Ott Lepland and INGA (Inga Tislar) will perform together with the group Soul Now and the Narva City Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of chief conductor and artistic director Anatoly Shchur. In a unique reading, you can hear Jaak Joala’s favorite songs Kui mind kutsud sa, Kuulsuse ahelad and Unustuse jõel, Ott Lepland’s hit Kuula and the premiere of Inga Tislar’s new song Gallery.
Ott Lepland told our correspondent that, of course, he had already been to Narva before. “Unfortunately, not so often, after 2012, when I took part in Eurovision with the song Kuula,” smiles Ott. – I have been to other cities in Ida-Viru County: I performed in Kohtla-Jarve and Sillamäe, but not so often in Narva. Tomorrow our program will feature works from the repertoire of Jaak Joala. And, of course, together with the Narva Symphony Orchestra I will perform my song Kuula. I invite you all to the opening concert of the Station Narva festival tomorrow. Because it will be a very good concert!”
