During the afternoon of this Saturday, September 28, a strong fire in a Walmart of ZapopanJalisco.
According to the first reports, the fire originated inside the shopping center, located on Periférico and Avenida Guadalupe.

Users on social networks shared various videos of the fire, both inside and outside. The incident caused long columns of black smoke, which were perceived in different surrounding areas.

Firefighters and emergency personnel arrived at the scene to put out the fire, while municipal and state police cordoned off the area.
Immediately the Walmart on Periférico and Guadalupe caught fire.
Dozens of Zapopan firefighters are on site fighting the fire.

The governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, highlighted that the fire was “attended by Civil Protection and Firefighters units from the metropolitan municipalities.”
