After signing yesterday for 2 seasons at Maccabi, our newly acquired player Derrick Lucassen started working. The Dutch defender held his debut training session with the team this evening (Monday) when he arrived at the training complex in Kiryat Shalom and met his new friends for the first time.
Maccabi itself returned to the grass after one day of rest and started preparations for the away game against MS Ashdod (Saturday) as part of the 4th round of the ONE ZERO league.
And not only Lucassen came to Kiryat Shalom. The one who landed in Israel is Jordi Cruyff, the former sports director of Maccabi and now the technical director of Barcelona, who came to visit the training complex and met quite a few familiar faces.
