Vigil in memory of the boy who died in daycare in the Bronx

One month after the death of one-year-old Nicholas Dominici from exposure to fentanyl, his family continues to mourn.

A vigil was held Sunday night at Our Lady of the Angels Church in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx.

In the images you can see the father of the minor, Otoniel Feliz, with a candle to honor the life of his son.

“These candles are the sign that the life of my son, our son, will always shine… and I know that my son’s death will not be in vain,” said the father.

Since Nicholas’ death, the daycare owner, her husband and cousin have been arrested and face murder and drug charges.
