Hapoel Haifa is preparing for tonight’s (Sunday) match against Hapoel Beer Sheva, when it knows for sure that it will no longer qualify for the top playoffs.
Elisha Levy arrives with a missing roster, while Liran Serdel and Sacco Torre will be absent due to injuries to the back thigh from the cup game against Bnei Yehuda. The two are expected to undergo a test tomorrow to determine the severity of the injury. Sardel and Tora join Ness Zamir, who is still suffering from a hamstring strain and is destined for another game. Guy Mishpati, who is currently taking his final steps towards returning to the pitches, is also expected to be included in the team’s squad only for the next league game.
The coach is expected to play again with Izichukawa Anthony as a back-up midfielder, with Nisso Capiloto taking his place as a stopper alongside Ben Wahba. Hanan Maman and Gal Erel will strengthen the squad after serving expulsion penalties in the cup game. “We will want to play at the level and intensity we have played in recent games,” Elisha Levy said ahead of the game. “Everything must be done to beat Be’er Sheva. We are a very competitive team and I really hope we can bring points from there.”
