Last year in 2012, due to the problem of the title of Gun film, the film was released after passing the case. In 2013, a bomb threat was issued to the theater due to strong opposition to the sub-title ‘Time to Lead’ in the title Thaliva.
Because of this, a few days later, after removing the subtitle, the film Thaliva was released. Last year, in 2014, there was opposition to the film Kathti, produced by ‘Laika’, a company close to Rajapakse. In 2015, due to Income Tax Department ‘raid’ at the house of the producers of Puli, the early morning shots were cancelled.
During the release of Theri in 2016, there was a problem with the distributors and producers. Last year in 2017, due to scenes related to GST and tax, which Vijay talked about in the film Mersal, there was a delay in getting the ‘censor’ certificate until the day before the release of the film.
In this regard, Varun Rajendran had given a complaint. Last year in 2019, a ‘poster’ of Vijay with his foot on a meat chopping board was released in the poster of Bigil. Due to this, traders’ associations staged a protest.
And in 2021, when the shooting of the film Master took place in Neyveli, the income tax department raided Vijay’s house.
While Beast was scheduled to release on April 14, 2022, due to KGF, Beast was released a day earlier. Currently, there is a problem in Andhra Pradesh for the release of the Telugu version of Varisu, which is slated to release in 2023. Similarly, there have been complaints about the use of an elephant in the shooting without permission. In general, Vijay, who faces problems every year during the release of his films, has taken politics into his hands to solve this permanently. He is waiting to make a noise through his fan club.
