However, Shubham Arora and Amit Kumar formed a partnership of 148 for the fourth wicket. Amit was out for 74 off 79 balls. Rishi Dhawan, the captain of the team who then landed on the field, was actively involved in the run chase.
Himachal scored 299 runs in 47.3 overs and declared victory in VJD format. With that the team has won the championship title of the current season. The Tamil Nadu cricket team has fought to the end for victory and embraced defeat. Asatiya Shubham Arora won the Man of the Match award with 136 runs and 3 catches.
