Captain Rishi Dhawan smashed an innings to take Himachal Pradesh to 281 for six. Dhawan, Aakash Vashisht and Prashant Chopra put on 106 for the loss of four wickets in 25 overs. Dhawan scored 84 off 77 balls. Prashant Chopra was unbeaten on 78 while Akash Vashisht was unbeaten on 45 off 29 balls. In reply, Services struggled but could not overcome the target. Captain Rajat Palliwal (55) is the service’s top scorer. Ravi Chauhan (45) and Devender Lohchab (34) also shone for the service. Apart from batting, Dhawan, who took four more wickets in bowling, smashed Services.

Tamil Nadu-Saurashtra match was full of excitement till the last ball. Batting first, Saurashtra scored 310 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Sheldon Jackson (134 off 125 balls) was the mainstay of Saurashtra’s innings. Arpit Vaswada (57 off 40 balls) and Vishwaraj Jadeja (52) also shone for Saurashtra. Captain Vijay Shankar took 4 wickets for Tamil Nadu. In reply, Baba Aparajith (122) led Tamil Nadu while Washington Sunder (70 off 61 balls) and Baba Indrajith (50) made notable contributions. Sai Kishore hit a boundary off the last ball of the innings to give Tamil Nadu the victory. Chetan Zakaria took five wickets for Saurashtra.
