Vijay Sethupathi, who attended an awards function in Dubai, recalled the days when he worked for a private company there many years ago.
He also said that they think of Dubai as their second home.
“I come from a normal middle class family. I came to Dubai in November 2000 with a lot of ambitions.
“I have walked the roads here thinking of my dreams. Whenever I come here, I make it a habit to visit the place where I stayed at least once.
“After coming here, it did not feel like a new country, a foreign country. After working in Dubai for three years and moving to Chennai, everything changed.
“It was kind of an accident that I made my debut in cinema and grew to this level as an actor. Dubai continues to grow, ”said Vijay Sethupathi.

Sethupathi presented these awards with his hand at a recent event. Following this, Sethupathi was awarded the Most Influential Star award in the film industry.
