Directed by Vetrimaran and starring Vijay Sethupathi, Suri and Bhavani Sri, ‘Vithutalai’ will reportedly also feature Vijay Sethupathi’s son Suriya in the lead role.
In 2015, Suriya made his acting debut by portraying Vijay Sethupathi’s youth in the film ‘Naanum Rowdy Than’. In 2019, Suriya again appeared on screen with his father in the film ‘Sindhubad’.
‘Vithutalai’ is based on the novel ‘Thunaivan’ written by Jayamohan. The film is a crime thriller. The news is that Vijay Sethupathi’s son will join the final schedule of the film. The film also stars director and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj and Kishore in pivotal roles. The film will release later this year.
