Chennai: The Beast movie starring Vijay, produced by Sun Pictures, will be released on April 13 in theaters across the world. This was officially announced by Sun Pictures. Vijay, who starred in Sun Pictures ‘Sarkar, is now back in Sun Pictures’ Beast. It was produced by Dr. Maran, President of the Sun TV Network. Nelson Dileepkumar, who directed Kolamavu Kokila and Doctor, has written and directed the film. Manoj Paramahamsa has done the cinematography and Anirudh has composed the music. Vijay is paired with Pooja Hegde. The main cast includes Yogi Babu, director Selvaragavan, Shaun Tom Sacco, Aparna Das, Redin Kingsley, VTV Ganesh and many more. Nirmal Kumar has done the editing and Johnny has done the dance training.
Actor Sivakarthikeyan has written the song ‘Arabic’ which is featured in the film. K. Karthik has written the song ‘Jalio Gymkhana’ sung by Vijay. Both songs were released and continued to be number one on YouTube Trending. Many people including moviegoers, athletes, fans and celebrities went viral on social networking sites by posting videos of themselves dancing just like Vijay danced to the song ‘Arabic’.
