Venkat Prabhu’s famous movie ‘The Greatest of All Time’ or ‘The Goat’. Thalapathy Vijay played a dual role in this Tamil language movie. Sneha acted opposite him. The movie was released on 6,000 screens worldwide on September 5. It hit the box office on its first day of release.
According to Boli Movie Reviews.com, ‘The Greatest of All Time’ earned Rs 54 crore (gross) on its first day of release in India alone. The Hindi version grossed Rs 2 crore (net). 44 crore earned abroad. The movie grossed Rs 98 crore worldwide (over Tk 139 crore 27 lakh in Bangladeshi currency).
‘Leo’ is the highest grossing Tamil movie worldwide on its first day of release. This movie released last year earned Rs.146 crores. Thalapati Vijay acted in this movie. The second position is ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (Rs 98 crore). The third, fourth, fifth positions are respectively — ‘2.0’ (Rs 95 crore), ‘Zellar’ (Rs 91.2 crore), ‘Kaabil’ (Rs 87.5 crore).
Siyasat.com reported that Vijay received a fee of Rs 175 crore (more than Tk 249 crore 59 lakh in Bangladeshi currency) for the movie ‘The Goat’.
