Vikram Boxoffice: Kamal’s Vikram has broken the box office record of the first day of Rajinikanth’s Annatha. Besides, Vikram has become the highest grossing film of the first day in Kamal’s career.
Vikram, a collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj, was released worldwide yesterday in 5 languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The film starred Vijay Sethupathi, Surya, Bhagat Bachil, Narain, Sivani, Myna Nandini and Maheshwari.
Anirudh composed the music for the film, which was produced on a huge budget on behalf of Kamal’s Rajkamal Films. Anbarivu has also acted as the stunt master for the film which was shot by Girish Gangadharan. Released on more than 5,000 screens worldwide, the film was released in over 800 theaters in Tamil Nadu alone.
Fans are also celebrating the film, which has been receiving positive reviews since its release. Bhagat Bachil, Kamal and Vijay Sethupathi’s acting have been praised for being on a different level. It has been reported that the film will be a hit at the box office as well.
