‘Vikram’ starring Kamal Haasan has become a huge hit even before its release.
‘Vikram’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, stars Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Faqat Basil and Kalidas Jayaram among others. The film is being co-produced by Rajkamal and Turmeric Media. The film’s introductory teaser and first look were well received.
The film was shot in two phases in areas including Karaikudi, Chennai and Pondicherry. After that ‘Big Boss Season 5’, the final finale shooting which was delayed due to Corona Positive for Kamal, ended a few weeks ago. However, it has been announced that it will be released worldwide on June 3rd.

Udayanithi’s Red Giant has acquired the Tamil publishing rights for ‘Vikram’. Red Giant has acquired the publishing rights for Rs 35 crore. Similarly, Shibu Tamim has acquired the Kerala rights for Rs 5.50 crore, Telugu actor Nithin for Rs 5.50 crore and Karbhaka Vinayaka Film Circuit for Rs 4.25 crore for Karnataka.
In addition, Star Network has acquired television and digital rights to all languages for Rs 93 crore. The song license has already been sold for Rs 4.25 crore and the foreign license for Rs 25 crore. All this adds up to Rs. 172 crore before the release of the business has been reported. It is noteworthy that this amount is higher than ever in Kamal’s films.
