Vilfand spoke about the abnormally warm weather in Russia

In the coming days, the weather throughout Russia will be abnormally warm, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, said, TASS reports.

The air temperature will exceed the norm everywhere except Chukotka. At the same time, the warming in Siberia will be the most significant. There the temperature background will be higher than normal by 8-16 degrees.

Moscow will also be four to five degrees warmer than usual, Vilfand said. The weather will return to normal only by January 23.

On the afternoon of January 20, the air temperature in the city will be from minus four to minus two degrees, follows from the data on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center. On January 21 and 22, the air will cool down to six or four degrees below zero. Already on January 23, the thermometer will drop to minus nine degrees, and on the 24th – to minus 11.
