The next 7-10 days will be relatively warm in Moscow. Forecasters have not yet predicted the transition to winter weather.

As the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand told TASS, usually stable temperatures below zero do not come to the capital until November 9-10, and permanent snow cover forms at the end of November. “Of course, these dates are variable. It happens when the snow cover will fall on November 15, and more often – this occurs in recent years – in December,” – said Vilfand.

But so far, according to all prognostic calculations, until November 3, snow in Moscow and the Moscow region is not expected, the meteorologist said.

Earlier, the head of the laboratory of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Lyudmila Parshina, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta that the relatively warm weather in the center of the European territory will remain until the end of October. During the day, the air temperature will rise to plus 12 degrees and even higher. It is also warm at night – plus 4-9 degrees. And in the last days of October, according to preliminary calculations, no precipitation is expected.
