Air temperatures are no higher than 5-10 degrees Celsius, and rains are predicted in the center of the European part of Russia until the end of the next working week. The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand told about this, noting that the second half of September is cool.
On Saturday, September 18, it will be sunny and without precipitation, the air temperature is 3-4 degrees below normal. On Sunday – no precipitation, but by evening it will be cloudy, the meteorologist told RIA Novosti.
“Since Monday, the weather is very cold: 5-10 degrees – maximum temperatures and rains, heavy in places,” said Wilfand, adding that such temperatures correspond to October values. The cold snap will be caused by air masses from the Arctic.
Wilfand added that if there is a hint of warming, the Hydrometeorological Center will be happy to report it. However, there is no need to wait until the end of the working week, the forecaster concluded.
Earlier it was reported that in most of the territory of Russia, including the north-west, Karelia, the Murmansk region, the Volga region and the center of the European territory, the temperature in October will be within the climatic norm.
