(ANSA) – ANCONA, 09 OCT – Doctor Giuditta Montecchiani is the new manager of the Anesthesia Service at the Villa Igea nursing home in Ancona.
Montecchiani, already serving in the healthcare facility in via Maggini since 2021, takes over from Dr. Luigi Ricci, who has retired.
The doctor comes from Asur Marche Area Vasta 2 in Fabriano, where she worked as a medical director in the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Department. Montecchiani, born in 1964, graduated in Medicine and Surgery with 110/110 marks and honors from the University of Ancona, where she subsequently specialized in Anesthesia and Intensive Care with 50/50 marks and honors. After his first experiences at the hospitals of Senigallia and the G. Salesi obstetric-pediatric hospital in Ancona, he spent most of his career at the Fano hospital, Ospedali Riuniti Marche Nord, as head of the UOSD of Intensive Care, and then moved to the Civitanova Marche hospital.
The specialist has around thirty publications to her credit in specialized scientific journals of national and international importance.
She has been a teacher, as an ALS and ATLS instructor, in numerous training courses in the sectors: territorial and hospital emergency-urgency on topics such as management of serious trauma (ATLS); emergency and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ALS); management of the massive influx of injured people in the event of a major emergency (drafting of the company PEIMAF); management of critically ill patients in hospital and post-surgery nutrition.
Montecchiani also boasts in his CV the collaboration with Ares (a voluntary association in the socio-health sector linked to Civil Protection) on the occasion of the earthquakes in Pakistan 2006 and L’Aquila 2009, where for some periods he directed the field hospitals of Mansehra and of L’Aquila.
