Asvel Villeurbanne announced on Tuesday that they have signed American-Bulgarian playmaker DeMarquis.Dee“Bost, notably passed through Monaco and who played for the Turkish club Galatasaray until the end of the season. The 33-year-old player (1.88 m, 80 kg) knows the French championship perfectly for having played one season in Strasbourg and four others in Monaco with whom he notably won the Eurocup in 2021.
Dee Bost also has Euroleague experience having played 39 matches in this competition in the Gora, Kaunas and Khimki Moscow teams. “We had wanted to strengthen ourselves in this position for several weeks but we were waiting for the best opportunity. Dee has the ideal profile, a perfect knowledge of the French championship and experience at European level, a leader’s soul and a thirst for winning which rubs off on his partners.“, confided the president Tony Parker on the website of the Rhone club.
