In areas of the soybean and by-product warehouse of the Basic Business Unit (UEB) Leopoldo Reyes Feed Factory, located in San Cristóbal, the company ViMariel SA, located in the Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM), installs modern invoice equipment Vietnamese, for the production of animal feed.
The AGRIVMA project, which foresees the start-up test for this Saturday, November 25, includes leasing of the area, weighing service for trucks, transportation, storage and conservation in a silo, being contracts 27 and 28 of the Production Company and Marketing of Feed and Poultry Logistics, to which this San Cristobal UEB belongs, explained its director Michel Ravelo Herrera.
It also expands “as benefits for the group the differentiated contract of eleven workers, with the guarantee of possessing skills and knowledge in the production line, being a strength for Vi-Mariel.”

Both factories, located at kilometer 179 ½, of the central highway in the Artemiseño municipality of San Cristóbal, will produce in unison, since Leopoldo Reyes, this 2023, has a plan of 103,600 tons of feed, 89,200 for the state order, with imported raw materials, and 14,400 t as alternative production.
ViMariel SA is a subsidiary of the Vietnamese commercial company, Viglacera corporation, being the first concessionaire of the ZEDM, installed since July 26, 2018 with totally foreign capital, which in this way expands its presence in Artemisa, and in Cuba.
