Vinicius Jr., Score: 8
A fantastic game by the Brazilian who celebrated with a great duo
Omar Alderta, Score: 4
Bad play for the brakeman who also arranged a penalty in a critical minute in the first half
After stumbling in the previous round with 1: 0 to Getafe, Real Madrid returned tonight (Saturday) to the winning track and did so in style with an impressive 1: 4 over Valencia. Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr. were fiery with doubles and also a shrinking goal from Gonzalo Gadash did not prevent the big celebration of the table leader, which increased the gap at the top, at least temporarily, to eight points. The game, like all Spanish league games, was broadcast on Channel ONE for HOT subscribers, yes subscribers, Cellcom TV and Partner TV.
Real Madrid did not particularly impress in the first half, but dominated completely and also reached a number of opportunities, culminating in a kick by Luca Modric that was stopped only by the crossbar. Towards the end of the half, Casimiro burst onto the field and a doubt failed, the Blancos received a penalty kick from 11 meters and Karim Benzema kicked well and made it 0: 1 at the break. It was the French striker’s 300th goal in all competitions in the Real Madrid uniform.
Seven minutes into the second half came the magic moment of the game. Vinicius Jr. burst onto the field and in tremendous personal action overcame three players and wheeled into the net. In the 61st minute, the Brazilian already completed a pair on the way to a great 0: 3 and Real Madrid actually decided the game. In the 76th minute Valencia won a penalty, Gonzalo Gadesh was stopped by Thibaut Courtois but scored from the rebound. The Bats received a shot of vigor from the shrinking goal, but towards the end Karim Benzema nailed the fourth, completed a pair of his own and decided the final result – a wonderful 1: 4 to Blancos.
