To denounce cases of harassment and violence against women in the workplace, the first step is to “communicate those responsible for the company or the sector in which the woman works”, says Gilberto Cordeiro, from GC Talentos.

“If it doesn’t have an effect, she can look for the disc-denouncement or even look for a lawyer to file a labor action against the company and or even civil action against the aggressor”, he explains.

Another channel is to seek help from the Occupational Health Reference Centers, as advised by Miriam Nayara, from Paraná Talentos, or the Ministry of Labor. Consultant Manoella Dalledone emphasizes that, depending on the case, the ideal is to file a complaint directly at the Civil Police station. “It is important to remember that in the initial risk identification, you must leave the company”, says Manoella.
