In this regard, Paxcon Company has informed that: The employees of the Chengzhou plant engaged in a sudden protest yesterday regarding the imposition of wages and conditions. There was a scuffle between the protestors and the police. We will continue to engage in negotiations with the employees and the government to ensure that such a situation does not recur.

The company has not selected any new employees to replace the workers affected by Corona. This was reported by Paxcon.

2 Lakh Employees: The Zhengzhou Boxcon plant, also known as the iPhone city, has a huge facility that employs around 2 lakh employees. It is noteworthy that a video of a large number of employees jumping over the barricade and walking to their hometowns in this plant, claiming that there were no basic facilities after the increase in corona infection, went viral recently.
