In a shocking incident, a wild brawl involving fans from rival NFL teams turned violent at a California In-N-Out Burger on Friday night. Two individuals were stabbed during the altercation, further escalating the level of mayhem.
According to footage obtained by KTVU, the fight broke out at the fast-food chain in Santa Clara. The video shows three men, one wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey and another sporting a Las Vegas Raiders jersey, relentlessly assaulting a shirtless man on the floor. In a disturbing turn of events, it appeared that one of the men without a jersey used a sharp object to attack the defenseless victim, while nearby onlookers pleaded for them to stop.
Santa Clara police reported that at least ten individuals were involved in the brawl, resulting in two victims sustaining “multiple stab wounds.” Both victims were immediately rushed to the hospital, and their current condition remains unknown at this time.
Despite detaining multiple individuals following the fight, the stabbing suspect managed to evade capture, leaving the authorities on a manhunt to bring them to justice.
Additional bystander footage revealed the intensity of the brawl, with individuals wearing either 49ers or Raiders gear exchanging brutal blows while horrified restaurant workers and patrons watched. Stains of blood could be seen on parts of the floor, reflecting the extreme violence that transpired.
The incident occurred shortly after the San Francisco 49ers’ final game of the preseason against the Los Angeles Chargers at Levi’s Stadium, which is just a couple of miles away from the In-N-Out Burger.
Santa Clara police have initiated an investigation into the incident, aiming to identify and apprehend the stabbing suspect and hold all participants accountable for their involvement in the violent clash.
This is not the first instance of fan violence involving the 49ers. Last week, during their preseason game against the Denver Broncos, a fight erupted in the stands, attracting national attention and spotlighting the issue of unruly behavior among certain fans.
As authorities continue to work on resolving these incidents, it is crucial for fans to remember the importance of good sportsmanship and respect for one another.
