Violent fight at home in front of a child, patrol cars intervene – Bolzano

BOLZANO. Yesterday evening (6 September) patrols from the Police “Flying Squad” were sent to a house in the city centre of Bolzano following a violent argument between a father and son.

The officers found themselves faced with a situation of apparent calm, but with thehouse in complete disarray and one very scared little girl for what had happened shortly before.

The police officers, after taking care of the little girl, began a separate conversation with the father, a 50 year old from Bolzano, who said he no longer got along with his father, the girl’s grandfather, and that it all started some time ago, when the son, worried about his elderly father’s health, had the Police Department intervene to have him withdraw his gun license and weapons. An initiative not appreciated by the elderly man, who, out of spite, had disinherited (as much as possible) his son, in turn giving rise to a persistent situation of mutual aggression and hostility.

Last night, yet another violent fight that frightened the little girl, so much so that she called her sister, who at the time was elsewhere with her mother and who, having arrived on the scene, confirmed to the police the difficult family situation.

The police urged the man to avoid violent behavior.

The police chief of Bolzano Paul Sartoriwith the competent Police Headquarters Offices, is now analyzing the situation in detail for a possible warning. The social assistance bodies for the protection of the minor have also been involved in the matter.
