Two Seriously Injured in Violent Incident on Route 4
Two individuals were left seriously injured following a violent incident on Route 4 between the ghetto fighters kibbutz and Moshav Regva. The Magen David Adom (MDA) medics and paramedics provided medical treatment on-site and evacuated the victims to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
Among the injured were a 40-year-old woman in critical condition and a 40-year-old man in serious condition, both with penetrating injuries. The woman was unconscious and not breathing, prompting MDA medics to perform CPR while administering treatment before evacuating her to the hospital. The man was also given medical treatment and was evacuated in a serious condition in an MDA intensive care vehicle.
A senior medic at MDA stated, “Both of the wounded suffered a penetrating injury to their bodies. A 40-year-old woman was unconscious without breathing and without a pulse. We gave her treatment and evacuated her while performing CPR to the hospital in critical condition. In addition, we provided medical treatment to a 40-year-old man and evacuated him in a serious condition in an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital.”
The circumstances surrounding the violent incident have yet to be disclosed, and authorities are investigating the matter further.
