The restaurant chain Vips celebrated its 60th anniversary in the former convent of Saint Hippolytuswhere the group was recognized Alsea for being the fundamental piece of the growth of this cafeteria founded in 1964 by the Arango family.
The director of Vips, Jaime Vasquezassured that this restaurant brand is iconic and the largest in all of Mexico, for which he thanked the Torrado family, as part of the founding partners and leaders of Alsea.

“I want to thank our founding partners, the Torrados, Fabian and Federico“Thank you very much,” he said.
In his speech, Alberto TorradoChairman of the Board of Directors of Alsea, thanked the business group for the recognition.
“I can’t believe it happened 60 years of this brandI have been in this sector for 35 years, since we opened the first store. Domino’s Pizza with my brothers, who curiously this year we turned 35 years of Alsea“, said.
The Chairman of the Alsea Board of Directors also stressed that Vips has been integrated into the business group’s portfolio for ten years.

“We didn’t buy anythingbut we do not add to the dreams that others have made and we have been extremely fortunate at Alsea,” he said.
Finally, the president of the Alsea Board of Directors He recalled that Vips serves the best Tlalpeño broth in the world, the best enchiladas and all of this with first-class service for generations and generations of Mexicans.
