That is why one day the captaincy of the team was given to Rohit, said Ganguly.
It has been reported that Virat Kohli has been given 48 hours to step down as captain of the Indian ODI team and was removed from the captaincy as he did not resign within that period.
Former Pakistan batsman Salman Butt, who heard the news, has suggested that Virat Kohli may have been treated with a little respect. Speaking on the occasion, Salman Butt said that Virat Kohli has been given the opportunity to step down from the captaincy within 2 days. The goalie may have treated him with a little respect, keeping in mind the contribution he made for the country. But this decision was a good one. Because, Salman Butt has said that T20 and ODI teams cannot play under different captains.
