Virtual assistant of the Coahuila Prosecutor’s Office has served more than six thousand people

The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Coahuila announced that, during the last eight months, it has achieved more than 30 thousand new interactions with Coahuila society through the Virtual Assistant.

This chatbot was developed through coordination between USAID and the Prosecutor’s Office, and was launched in February of this year with the intention of reducing the black figure of unreported crimes.

MORE THAN 30 THOUSAND INTERACTIONS

According to the report, between February and November, the Assistant has received a total of 30,259 interactions with Coahuila residents.

Of that total, in 49.9% of cases, the Assistant was used for calls and training with citizens, being the main reason why citizens have attended.

Secondly, there is attention to victims of a crime, which represents 21.3% of the interactions in which people went to the Assistant, which is equivalent to 6,354 people who reported a crime in this way.

However, in this sense, the FGE does not detail which crimes were most frequently reported in this way.

In another 15%, cases of processing were observed. There were 11.5% of people who came for guidance from the Cyber ​​Police, and another 2.4% of complaints against FGE personnel, which implies that there were around 750 complaints against personnel.

Of that total, in 49.5% of cases, the interactions were reported through WhatsApp; In 48.6% of cases, the interaction was through Messenger, and another 1.9% through Telegram.

Among the benefits that the FGE has highlighted about the implementation of this chatbot are the increase in efficiency, as well as the decongestion of expert services.
