V47 Entertainment Launches to Pioneer Branded Content Across Asia and MENA

Singapore-based venture aims to redefine brand integration in entertainment, moving beyond product placement to co-creation.

A new entertainment studio, V47 Entertainment, has been established through a partnership between Virtue Asia and Goldfinch International, poised to reshape how brands engage with audiences across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The Singapore-based studio will focus on developing original content – including feature films, television series, and digital formats – with brand partnerships woven into the creative process from the outset.

A Shift in Brand Storytelling

V47 Entertainment represents a significant departure from traditional advertising models. Instead of simply inserting brands into completed projects, the studio intends to involve corporate partners as collaborators during development. “Audiences no longer want brands to interrupt culture, they want them to actively contribute to it,” explained a senior official at Virtue Asia. “With V47, we’re giving brands the ability to build signature entertainment properties.”

This approach aims to create more authentic and impactful integrations, generating intellectual property with built-in monetization potential. The studio’s operations will span multiple entertainment sectors, including music, gaming, film, television, live events, and digital creator content.

Financing and Expansion Plans

Goldfinch International will manage the financing and production operations for the venture, leveraging the expertise of its parent company, Goldfinch Group, which has backed over 300 film and television projects with a total of $300 million in financing, maintaining a zero default rate and delivering returns between 11% and 13%. In May, Goldfinch International launched a production debt fund designed to support producers while allowing them to retain ownership of their intellectual property.

Looking ahead, V47 has outlined plans for a branded entertainment investment fund and an accelerator program. These initiatives will aim to convert corporate marketing budgets into entertainment assets with the potential for multi-territory distribution.

The “Vault47” Concept and Regional Focus

The studio’s name, “V47,” is derived from “Vault47,” symbolizing a focus on intellectual property management. The number 47 references the approximate number of countries and territories within Asia where V47 intends to operate.

The venture is strategically focused on Asian and Middle Eastern markets, recognizing their growing influence on global culture. “Asia is now shaping what the world wants next, reversing decades of west-to-east cultural flow,” stated a company representative. “Brands operating here have an unprecedented opportunity to lead global culture from this region.”

Industry Response and Leadership

Industry observers believe V47’s model blends “culture, capital and creativity in a way the industry hasn’t seen.” According to one analyst, the studio’s approach combines the rise of the Global South, innovative financing models, and deeper brand collaboration.

David Webster serves as chair of V47 Entertainment, and Phil McKenzie, COO and co-founder of Goldfinch, emphasized the studio’s commitment to building content “hand-in-glove with brands.” Several projects are currently in development, with a formal slate announcement planned for the first quarter of 2026. The initial lineup includes two documentary series, a live event series, a short-form microdrama, a competition format, and an animated series.

Virtue Asia and Goldfinch International: A Synergistic Partnership

Virtue Asia, a creative agency with a roster of clients including Disney, Google, Spotify, Toyota, Diageo, and Shiseido, brings its expertise in brand strategy and cultural integration to the partnership. Goldfinch International, founded by McKenzie, Kirsty Bell, Justin Deimen, and Fadi Ismail, extends the Goldfinch Group’s business model into new markets.

“V47 embodies that shift,” said Justin Deimen, founding partner at Goldfinch International, referring to the evolving landscape of global entertainment. “By combining Goldfinch’s financing and production engine with Virtue’s cultural insights and brand relationships, we’re creating a platform where brands can participate meaningfully in storytelling that travels, endures, and resonates.”
