The company has introduced the Visa Vulnerability Agentic Harness (VVAH), an AI-powered tool designed to cut the average time to adapt (MTTA) for vulnerability remediation from weeks to hours. Simultaneously, Visa launched the Visa Threat Intelligence Platform (VTIP), which combines cyber and payments data to identify risks earlier and reduce fraud losses. These developments underscore Visa’s growing emphasis on AI-driven security, with both initiatives drawing on its $13 billion investment in digital payment technology over the past five years.
AI-Powered Vulnerability Management: The VVAH Initiative
Visa’s VVAH, developed in collaboration with Anthropic’s Project Glasswing, automates the identification, prioritization, and remediation of software vulnerabilities. The system uses AI to analyze threats in real time, enabling organizations to address issues before attackers exploit them.
