Visit to the Turkish restaurant “Bona’me” in Frankfurt

SChic system gastronomy, which apart from the multiplication ability of a concept has little in common with the mammoth burger chains, which cannot shake off the reputation of being cheap in terms of quality, aesthetics and ideology: Many have tried to do that. Quite a few have also failed, often with and also because of a mixture of underfunding and over-forced expansion. But there are always new players coming onto the field. They include the Bona’me chain, founded by the four siblings Yasemin, Munise, Hüseyin and Ceyhun Dogan, offspring of what they call a classic migrant family who started out in the restaurant business with a restaurant in Bergheim near Cologne.

Today they run seven restaurants in Germany under the name Bona’me, which in Kurdish means “our house”. There is a branch in Frankfurt on Junghofstrasse, and if you want to see a friendly and spacious, trendy place with lots of cheerful guests of all ages, you should go there.
